Original owner of this Washburn acoustic electric. Purchased from Sam Ash Music on 48th St in NYC in 1980 or 1981. Excellent condition. Includes hard case.

I was looking for info on mine. It sounds gorgeous and it has for 20 years since I got it. Mine doesn't have a case, but is in great condition except one tuner was replaced. It stays in tune like a champ, better than that one I paid 1200 bucks for. It's brighter than a Martin, but a little less than a Taylor in tone(i am talking high end, like the 314 grand auditorium. But I work in a music store and play very high end taylors and martins daily, and this guitar matches with them every step. I am very surprised at how this got better with time. It's mahogany I think, but someone said it could be koa also. All I know is that my friend played a couple shows with Charlie Daniels and he used this and gave me an expensive ovation as collateral back in the mid 90's. I love this guitar but not sure what all the details are.

This is a beautiful guitar - and I'm a huge fan of Washburn guitars... I own 3 of them and love them all.
