by Sherry

I have a mandolin the number on the inside shows A-16185 I would like to know what you can tell me about this particular instrument. I have had possesion of this for about 30 years. I am aware that without seeing it you cant give an $$ value I would just like to know what year it is or any other relevant information. Thank you

ANSWER

Hi, Sherry--

I would like to help, but without a brand name or anything to go on, I can't even match the serial number to a manufacture date.

Is there a label with a brand name or model?

Thanks, Sherry--that helps!

The serial number indicates a 1937 manufacture date.
