Relative Minor Chords

by Malgiya

How are relative minor chords made?

Hi, Malgiya--

The relative minor chord is based on the 6th note in the major scale. For example, in the key of "G" major, the sixth note in the major scale is "E", so the relative minor chord is "E" minor.
