Hole in Tom Tom

i have a slight hole in my tom-tom. what should i do with it? i really dont want to buy another tom so what do i do? will i HAVE to buy another tom?

1 more question;how do i tune my drums for metal music?

Hi, Andre--

I am not sure what you mean--do you have a hole in the SHELL of your tom or in the HEAD. If it is in the head, just buy a new head.

If it is in the SHELL, I guess it depends on how big a hold and if it affects the sound.

Regarding tuning--it is purely a matter of taste, but for most metal music, you will want a sharp attack on the snare and lower tuning for the toms.
