EMG--Difference Between 81 and 81X

I wanted to get EMG 81 and 85 put cant pick between 81/85 or 81x/85x. whats the difference between the two?

Hi, Fabio--

The 81 and 85 X series pickups have added treble response and added sustain. In their words--"the 81X shines with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain."

The 81X is normally used in the bridge position, while the 85X is used in the neck position.
