What Floor Tom Should I use?
I am a beginner, and I want to play an alternative song that uses a floor tom. I'm using a set that i think is a jazz set, and it has 2 floor toms, that are connected to each other. For the song, which one should i use, or are these tom's totally different from a regular floor tom? Should i go out and get a floor tom, if the ones i have are different?
ANSWER
No need to buy another floor tom--just try both of them and use the one that YOU like best. For that matter, split the floor tom parts between BOTH of them. Be creative--you might just come up with your signature sound!
