Star, Supreme and Tama

by Brian Emburgh
(Port Colborne, Ont., Canada)

PLEASE!!!!!
I have an old set of Supreme drums which I enjoy very much. Probably from the sixties. Through a bit of research, I read that Supreme Drums may have been a stencil of Star Drums. Same manufacturer. I also came across the information that Tama bought out Star in 1974.I don't know if this is true. Essentially, I'm trying to find out more about my Supremes. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Hi, Lynne,
Thanks for the information. I have contacted Lou Dias but, he really doesn't know too much. It was certainly good of him to answer though. Thanks again.
