How to Play Trills

How do I play a flatted trill?

ANSWER

Hi, Peggy--

I am not sure what you mean. Is ONE of the notes flat? In that case you just play the two notes the way you normally would play a trill. Experiment with different fingerings like 1 and 3, 2 and 4, and even 3 and 5.

Actually, it's the same thing if BOTH notes are flat, although trills are usually executed on notes that are a half step apart.
