How to Change Gauge of Strings

I have a squire strat and would like to put 10 gauge strings on it. What and how do I adjust the neck.or.do I need to adjust it. I don't have much money to spend so I want to do it myself.

I think that 10 gauge strings will work on a squire. The neck should not need adjusting once it gets used to the extra tension.

If an adjustment needs to be made, I strongly recommend that you take it to a qualified repair person. Guitar neck adjustments in inexperienced hand can be disastrous. This is a very inexpensive procedure.
