Can I Store My Drums in the Basement?

Can you store a drum set in a basement that is unfinished without damaging the set?

Hi, M.G.--

It depends on where you live and how damp the basement gets. If it is not extremely high humidity, then a small de-humidifier would probably be sufficient.

Humidity along with changes in temperature can be extremely damaging to drums. Unless you live in a very dry climate, I would try to find a better place to store them.
