Zildjian Cymbals--Custom or Rock?

What is the difference between custom and rock zildjian cymbals?

ANSWER

Hi, Pranvera--

The Custom Zildjians are Cast Bronze cymbals. They are cast individually from a secret Zildjian alloy.
Not all of the cast bronze cymbals, however are "Custom".

The Z3 Series are "Rock" cymbals. The two terms can not really be compared because "Custom" refers to several lines of cast cymbals, and "Rock" refers to specific cymbal configuration--like bell size, taper, etc.

There are also "Rock" cymbals which are not cast bronze, but sheet bronze technology where cymbals are mass produced from identical bronze discs.
