I have owned this guitar from new.the serial no is 1270791.I think this means it would have been made at the Taiwan,Aohsiung factory in 1971 on the 27th of july.unit no91 the date and month seem to be the wrong way round?
I've just bought a fishman blend and thought I'd give this guitar a run out.on taking it out of its case after many years it still sounds good and in tune with 20 year old strings on it.it is unmarked. I won't be selling it but wondered if it might be worth a few hundred pounds.

Hi, Mike--

The FG512 is not listed in the Blue Book. The 12 string models which ARE listed are priced from $200-300.

The Blue Book prices tend to run low because they are based on what collectors are paying. In general, the FG series does not seem to be in any great demand by collectors at this time.
