Yamaha FG335 Value

Someone I know had a Yamaha FG335 acoustic guitar taken. In the report to police, they claimed the value of the guitar as $800. After seeing the guitar and case, it seems pretty high. Can you tell me what the value of the guitar would be in "mint" or "excellent" condition.

The Blue Book does not list this specific model, but I can tell you that the highest value that the Blue Book places on ANY of the FG models is $250. Most of them are valued at $100 or less.

I have had information from many owners of these guitars who love them. They just aren't considered to be of high monetary value to collectors at this time.
