Yamaha FG-300
Acquired new in early 70's. Pristine condition, perfect original Yamaha case. I would like to have some idea of valuation for our insurance.
ANSWER
Hi, David--
Thanks for your donation! Here is the Blue Book general info:
FG-300 - dreadnought-style body, select spruce top, rosewood back and sides, round soundhole with multi-ring rosette, multi-ply top and back binding, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays, bound headstock, three-per-side chrome-plated tuners, adj. rosewood bridge with pearl inlays, large three-point tortoise pickguard, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1969-1973.
The pricing info:
Excellent $325 - 400 Average $200 - 250
***The Blue Book is an indication of what collectors are paying for the guitar. I would insure it for more simply because it cannot be replaced.
Best Wishes, Lynne
