Why does the battery in my distortion pedal die so quickly?
by jojo
I have a Behringer distortion pedal. I play two hours a day and switch it off every time after I play. the problem is the battery dies in a week or two. The battery says it can last for two years. but for some reason it dies quickly!! I really don't know what I am doing wrong here. please answer back.
ANSWER
Hi, Jojo--
The only thing that I can think of is that you should unplug the guitar cable from the pedal each time. If the cable is plugged in, it will drain the battery even if the pedal is switched off.
