What kind of guitar is this???

My brother just bought this guitar from a pawn shop today. It says "Yamaha" on the neck and doesn't have any other information anywhere on it. It's a solid body electric, that kind of looks like a Yamaha RGX series. You'll see the corners are too skewed and rounded to fit the profile, and the headstock seems to be facing the opposite direction. What do you think?

I think that it might be a guitar that was fited with a Yamaha neck. Other than that, I have to say I don't know.
