What kind of electric guitar do I have??

by Giovanni
(Stinnett, Texas, United States)

Hello,
I just want to know what kind or brand of electric guitar I have?? It is really old, and I can't find parts for the guitar. To buy a part, I need to tell what kind of guitar it is.
I am going to upload a picture of the guitar.
Let's see if you can help me.

ANSWER

Hi, Giovanni--

It took me a while to answer because I was searching for your guitar. I could not find it--even in my guitar encyclopedia.

It would help if I could see the headstock. From what I can see the headstock looks very large and wider than most. It also appears to be colored like the guitar, which is unusual.

Also--did you look for a serial number? That information would help.

One of the things that makes it difficult to place this guitar is the location of the connection jack on the front of the guitar. Very few guitars have the jack located there.

Maybe you could send me another picture with the headstock showing and any other information like serial number, when did you buy it, where did you buy it, what were you told when you bought it, etc.

In addition, I found this book that might be of help:

Gruhn's Guide To Vintage Guitars

Please let me know if you have any additional information.

Good Luck!
Lynne
