What is the difference between fast and regular crash cymbals?

Whats the difference between a fast crash cymbal, and a regular crash cymbal?

Hi, Terrell--

The fast crash cymbal will respond more quickly and also decay (die out) more quickly than a regular crash cymbal. Many times this is desirable because a fast crash will not continue to ring and interfere with the vocals.
