Ventura Lady Nelson
I bought this new a long time ago when I wanted to learn to play guitar, but I just couldn't do well. I have kept it all this time thinking someone would like it in the family. But Noooooooo! So I would like to sell it. Could you tell me what it is worth? Thank you, Karen Blackwell
ANSWER
Hi, Karen--
Pretty guitar! (Thanks for the donation!)
The Blue Book has only this to say about Ventura guitars:
"Instruments previously produced in Japan circa 1970s. Ventura guitars were distributed in the U.S. market by C. Bruno & Company of New York, New York. Generally medium to good quality versions of popular American models."
Not very helpful---
I found one on Craigslist for $1200. Here is a link to another one for sale:

Hope this gives you some idea. You might want to list it on our Guitar Classifieds page.
Best Wishes, Lynne
