Tuning problems

Hey I've just brought a Gibson Les Paul studio

and I've noticed when ever I tune it up after playing one song i have to tune it again.
Is this normal or is it something I'll have to get checked?

Hi Jamie--

Les Paul's are normally pretty stable. The most likely thing is that the strings are new and are still stretching.

You can combat this by gently stretching the strings until stretching further does not cause
a drop in pitch.
