Teisco Del Ray

I'd like to know how much the guitar is worth in it's present condition "It has some cracks in the finish, and has some scuffs", I'm almost 100% positive that it's the 1965 model, but someone took out the original pickup in the bridge, and replaced it with a humbucker, I'd also like to know, if possible, where i can find the original pickup to one of these guitars
ANSWER
Hi, Ronald--
Here is some Blue Book info about dating and pricing these guitars:
"One dating method for identifying Teisco guitars (serial numbers are non-existent, and some electronic parts may not conform to the U.S. EIA code) is the change in pickguards that occurred in 1965. Pre-1965 pickguards are plastic construction, while 1965 and post-1965 pickguards are striped metal.
Pricing on Teisco Del Rey models and other Teiscos remains a bit strange. Most models that hang on walls are tagged at $99 (and sometimes lower), but clean cool shaped models sometimes command the $200 to $300 range. However, due to the association of the Spectrum Five model with Eddie Van Halen (he posed with a Spectrum Five on the cover of some German music magazine, if the story is true), some Spectrum Fives are now priced (used) at $1,000!"
Sorry--I could not find information about purchasing the original pickups.
