Takamine EG440c RED

by Robin
(Scotland)

strq code but desc. says trans red

strq code but desc. says trans red

strq code but desc. says trans red different pattern and shade of red

I'm looking to get one of these guitars in red however i keep noticing 2 different reds but nobody seems to have the right code. Translucent/transparent red (stry) and red quilt (strq) however when i look these models up some items which have translucent red in description have what looks like the red quilt and vice versa so my question is.......Is there only one colour of red and the wood pattern varies?

ANSWER

Hi, Robin--

It appears from the Blue Book that there is only one red--translucent red. There appear to be 2 different models--the EG-440CST Flame Maple and the EG-440CST Quilted Maple. Both are available in only one red color.
