Tacoma JK 50 CE

Saw one of these and really want to find one in good condition. Not sure how much it is worth though..

Here is the Blue Book info:

JK50CE CUTAWAY ELECTRIC
- rounded lower bout/slim waist style with single rounded cutaway, solid Sitka spruce top, round soundhole with abalone trim, koa back/sides, herringbone purfling/ivoroid body binding, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with abalone inlay, bound flamed koa peghead with maple logo inlay, rosewood bridge, 3-per-side headstock, chrome hardware, Fishman Prefix system, available in Natural satin finish, mfg. 1997-2000.

Excellent $1,050 - 1,250

A day of regret.

Somewhere in late 1999 I stopped into a music shop in Lowell, or was it Chelmsford Mass and played a Tacoma JK50. It was $999.00 and even with old strings it was the finest guitar I've ever played. The salesman tempted me and if not for my wife and her stern look, I would have (and should have ) bought it. To this day, (yes to this day), it is the one purchase I regret not making. The JK50 is my dream guitar. It had the sound of a Guild with the look of a Gibson and the verve of a small factory in the Northwest. Damn-it. I'm still searching for one.
