Stewart Model# 7001

(St. Louis MO USA)
I have a stewart model#7001 Serial#2537. It is all original to the best of my knowledge. There is a case but i don't believe it to be the original one. The label is inside the body and visible from the top cutout. I would say that it is in fair shape there is no structural damage but a fair amount of wear on the neck and the back has a fair amount of scratches.
ANSWER
Hi, Andy--
The Blue Book has only this to say about Stewart guitars:
"Instruments also produced as Stewart & Bauer. Instruments previously produced in Philadelphia, PA, during the late 1800s.
S.S. Stewart was a major banjo producer of the late 1800s, and was one of the first to apply mass production techniques to instrument building with good consequences. Stewart became partners with well-known guitar builder George Bauer, and issued guitars under the Stewart & Bauer trademark from Philadelphia.
After the company was dissolved, Stewart´s family put out guitars under the S.S. Stewart´s Sons trademark. The Stewart name also appears on a series of entry level to medium grade guitars built by Harmony (circa 1950s); and others for Weymann. These later models are not at the same level of quality as the Philadelphia-era models ."
There is no price info for any of the models.
There is information about the Stewart Guitars made by Harmony at this site:

Sorry I could not be of more help about pricing.
