SS Stewart Guitars--made by Harmony

I have a auditorium size SS Stewart that i got from an uncle about 1960 i am now trying to locate someone who can tell me how to identify it.

ANSWER

The Blue Book says only this about SS Stewart guitars:

"Instruments also produced as Stewart & Bauer. Instruments previously produced in Philadelphia, PA, during the late 1800s.
S.S. Stewart was a major banjo producer of the late 1800s, and was one of the first to apply mass production techniques to instrument building with good consequences. Stewart became partners with well-known guitar builder George Bauer, and issued guitars under the Stewart & Bauer trademark from Philadelphia.
After the company was dissolved, Stewart´s family put out guitars under the S.S. Stewart´s Sons trademark. The Stewart name also appears on a series of entry level to medium grade guitars built by Harmony (circa 1950s); and others for Weymann. These later models are not at the same level of quality as the Philadelphia-era models."

HISTORY 4 MODEL 6999 STEWART GUITAR NEEDED.
by: Jamie M.

I have the same guitar that is in the STEWART HARMONY data base same color but with white machine heads, I would like to know exactly what year and what city it was made. It has no evidence of having a pick guard, and there is no design on the back. ALSO the Decal just says STEWART black and gold in color. How much is it worth? now and what did it sell for? THANKS JAMIE M.
