SILVERTONE MODEL: 319.14559 1968 Hollowbody

by Ranada
(Winchester, KY)

I just traded a guy for this guitar. It plays like dream but has no bigsby tremolo bar. The guitar is in average condition... maybe very good condition. I was wondering how much you felt it could be worth. I can be reached via email.

Thanks,
Ranada

ANSWER

Hi, Ranada--

The Blue Book does not list this model. The problem with trying to evaluate these guitars is that they were actually made by several different companies and sold under the Silvertone brand for Sears.

I went to Vintage Silvertones and looked for your guitar, but did not find the model number there either.

My advice would be to go to that website and look through the "Gallery" to see if you can find a guitar that looks like yours. It is a very interesting site. There is also a "Contact" page, so maybe they would be able to identify your guitar.

Sorry I could not be of more help.

Lynne
