- offset double cutaway asymmetrical body, Masonite semi-solid construction, white pickguard, bolt-on neck, 18-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, metal trapezoidal bridge with rosewood stick saddle, 6-on-a-side tuners with plastic buttons, single coil lipstick tube pickup, volume/tone control, available in Black with metallic accents finish, mfg. 1962-67.

This model is known as an amp-in-case model because the case came fitted with a 3-watt amplifier and a 5-inch speaker. In 1964, a 6-inch speaker replaced the 5-inch speaker. In 1964, metal "skate-key" tuners replaced the tuners with plastic buttons.
