Hi, Peter--

There is really no reliable source for Sigma serial numbers, but my best guess is that your guitar was made in the mid to late 1980's.

Here is the Blue Book General info:

DM-1
- dreadnought style, laminated spruce top, round soundhole, bound body, three-stripe rosette, laminated mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge with black pins, black pickguard, available in Natural or Black finish, disc. 2007.
