Roscelli - model unknown

by Henk
(Pretoria, South Africa)

Roscelli

Roscelli

I am looking to buy this guitar, but I have no idea how old it is, or how much it is worth. I've tried searching the net, but found no results. Can you maybe find out how much should I be paying for this?

ANSWER

Hi, Henk--

I wish I knew! These guitars have been turning up frequently lately with the owners having different names for the brand. They all have those wide rectangles for fret markers on the fretboard and I can find NO guitars anywhere on the internet or in the Blue Book that have those markers.

I will keep my eyes open and let you know mif anything comes up.

Lynne

Roscelli Guitar
by: Anonymous

i, I have been reading some of these posts. These guitars were made from the 195's in SOuth Africa by the Russouw family the guitars were manufactured for only two generations and then the family lost interest, a pitty they are great sounding guitars.

I have one myself a 1952 ( I had it values and dated as close to pos) mine was valued at $10,000.00 NZD, this is not the actual value but replacement value is it breaks or gets nicked.

These guitars are rare not so many of the around as you think.

cheers

I also have a Roscelli and I think it`s a 1976 model! It is in a good condition but I too have the problem of wanting to sell but don`t kow for how much! If anyone can give me a figure I would appretiate it!
