What is the best thing to practice after doing progressions in all keys and inversions?

ANSWER

Hi, Ted--

It depends on what it is that you want to do. Is there a particular type of music that you like to play? Do you want to compose, play in a band, what?

The study of scales and progressions is meant to provide you with tools to accomplish your goals.
