Piano Accompaniment

hi there,
your site is very helpful thank you. What tips do you give for left hand easy accompaniment?

thank you

Answer

Hello--

Glad you found the site helpful! About left hand accompaniment:

There are many varied jobs for the left hand of a piano player. In the simplest situation, your left hand can play chords while your right hand plays a melody. If this is where you want to start, it would be a good idea to become familiar with Chord Inversions.

Become very good at switching between chords using chord inversions as described on the above page. Then, you will be ready for the next step in left hand accompaniment.

Best Wishes,
Lynne
