National, 1935 model number N568 Hawaiian Lap Steel

This is an original National Guitar (Electric) with original case. The number is stamped on top of the neck on the back side. Solid metal construction. Not sure if any repairs were made,it doesn't look like it. It all looks as old as it is (75 years). The finish has worn some as expected. Plays really well.

This guitar is actually a Hawaiian Lap Steel guitar and was the first lap steel model made by national.

Unfortunately, these guitars are not listed in the Blue Book and I could find nothing indicating price on the internet.

I am going to post this in hopes that some of out readers may have more information. Sorry I could not be of more help.
