Mastering the Guitar Major Scales

Hi Lynne,
now I'm mastering the major scale of all the seven notes, but i play them only on one string (esp E and B strings), by the support of the alternate picking i start getting a sense of music, but as i told i play all scales but only on one scale octave, can you tell me my next tip?
