No, it's a better cheap guitar
by: MZD

I would say for the price you are not going to find a better acoustic guitar. In my personal opinion it plays better then acoustic Fenders, Seagulls, and Yamahas. I bought mine used from Guitar Center for $125.00 in mint condition 2 years ago (I knew the manager) I think it?s a 1990 modal from what my findings have led me to believe. I did spend about $60.00 changing the plastic nut and bridge and had it professionally set up by an old Gibson employee. I spent $15 dollars on replacing the plastic string pins to wood. I also buy medium gauge elixir strings at $16.00. IT IS NOT A MARTIN BY ANY MEANS, I would say it?s a strummer?s guitar not for heavy pickers. I would take no less than $230 for it right now. I never seem to be that guy to catch a break on things but this is one of the few musical items I know I feel I got a great deal.
