Martin D-28 1937

by Doug Noyes
(Rapid City)

The guitar has been heavily used and shows the wear. No cracks, cuts or deep scratches but there is a lot of wear. What is its approximate worth?

ANSWER

Hi, Doug--

The serial number indicates a 1937 manufacture date.

Here is the Blue Book general info:

The pricing info:

1934-1938 14-Fret Body

Excellent $85,000 - 110,000
Average $57,500 - 70,000

**Considering the possible value of your guitar, I would recommend consulting a reputable luthier for a detailed evaluation.
