Martin 1953 000-18

Average condition, and a few top cracks that have been repaired - original finish. Top looks like Addy - is that possible?!

What might be the approximate value?

ANSWER

Hi, Mark--

The 000-18 has always had a solid Spruce top. The 1953 model has mahogany sides and back and an ebony fretboard.

The Blue Book values are:

1947-1959

Excellent $4,000 - 5,000
Average $2,500 - 3,000
