Martin 017

by nelson
(marysville, ca usa)

serial # 50231. This is a smaller guitar, has some wear & scratches. a small crack on the front bottom was repaired about 40 years ago. It doesn't seem to have affected the sound because it still sounds wonderful. could you tell me what the blue book says about it?

ANSWER

Hi, Nelson--

The serial number indicates that your guitar was built in mid 1932.

Here is the Blue Book info:

Exc. $2,750 - 3,250
Avg. $1,800 - 2,200

Best Wishes-
Lynne

Another question Martin 017

I have only seen Martin the double OO17 in my research but my guitar is stamped with a single
O17. Does that make a difference in value?
