Value of Martin 0018C
by: MichaelP

I own a 1966 Martin 0018C and called MArtin to check its value. I was told by Martin, after they verified my serial number, that they do not make the model any more but if I contracted with them to have it hand made today it would cost me $3,500.00+
Further, I took my Guitar into the Guitar Store in Plano Texas and was offered over $2000.00 by the manager of the store.

Wanting to obtain a nice guitar for our Patients
by: chaplain George Francis

Hi,
My name is George Francis. I am a Palliative Care (Hospice) chaplain at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Tampa Florida. I am looking for a nice Martin Nylon string guitar to play reflection music at the bedside of our terminally ill patients, children and their families. I would also use this guitar to play memorials for our families at chapel/mass. Is this guitar still available? What would it be possible to obtain it for? Please contact me,Could terms be worked out?
Respectfully,
Chaplain George Francis

I have owned this guitar for years and years and I am amazed that it has not gone up in value.
Mine is a 62-63 model.. Outstanding/Excellent condition as when it was purchased.. I still have the original receipt and it's in its original case.
I would love to see it soar to 3000-6000. What do you think? Maybe? I might sell it then.
I noticed that Martin has been making reissued 00-18 guitars and selling them for big bucks.. so whats the deal?
