Maderia EG-50SB
by Donna
(South Florida)
Guitar is in good to excellent condition, all original, in original case. I think it was manufactured in early 1980's. Is it worth anything? It sat in the case for 10 years, pulled it out and it was still in tune, couldn't believe it.
ANSWER
Hi, Donna--
This is a bit confusing. There were guitars imported from Japan in the 80's called Madeira. On the internet, Maderia and Maderia are used interchangeably most of the time.
The thing is, I saw no mention of an "E" series--only the "A" series. I am not sure if this is a separate brand or just an alternate spelling.
If it is a "Madeira" Guild import, the value range is from $100. to $300. The people who own them, however, say that they are wonderful guitars.
Hope this helps-
Lynne
