HY-LO Electric Guitar

It is an F hole electric guitar with 2 humbucker pickups. It was my father's and I found it in a closet after he passed away. It appears to be an early '50s model. I can not find a serial number or date of manufacture. Thank you in advance with any assistance you can provide.

Thank you
Allen

ANSWER

Hi, Allen--

The Blue Book says only this:

"Instruments previously produced in Japan during the mid to late 1960s.
These entry level solid body guitars feature designs based on classic American favorites. One such model (designation unknown) featured an offset double cutaway body and six on a side tuners like a strat, but two single coil pickups and volume and tone controls."

I was able to find a discussion including prices paid by some at:

Hy-Lo

Keep in mind that we don't know what model your guitar is.

Lynne
