How Can I Find an Affordable Beginner's Guitar?
by Andrew
My name is Andrew and I asked you a question on allexperts.com and you directed me to this great site! I wanted to say thank you! However, I wanted to ask you a question about buying a basic guitar for myself? I'm not really going for quality of sound at this
point yet, but just something I can practice on. I'll go for quality later on in my life when i have more money, but for now I just need something thrifty for me to practice on. Can you suggest to me a good way I can find a cheap, thrifty guitar that will allow me to practice to the best of my ability? Thanks!
ANSWER
Hello, Andrew--
Glad to see you on the site.
As far as finding a guitar for you, here are some suggestions:
1. Ebay
2. Pawnshops
The problem with these two is you never really know what you are getting and have no recourse if there is a problem--although you might find a very good deal with no problems.
3. I looked around at the online music stores and found an interesting possibility for you. It is a Takamine--a very well know brand.
It is from Musician's Friend and the retail price is $259.00 It is on sale for $99.00.
You can see the guitar here:

Let me know what you think. You can trust Musician's Friend--I have purchased a lot of my equipment from them.
