Hohner HG310 limited edition made in japan

Purchased this guitar in the late seventies and was just curious about current value or rarity. Does anyone have any info please?

ANSWER

The Hohner HG310 is not listed in the Blue Book. I did some research and came up with this--

http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Hohner/HG310+Rosewood+Limited+Edition/10/1

I also found several mentions of the guitar on Ebay--all selling for under $200. but I could not find the guitars listed when I went to Ebay.

In general, there are no really high values placed on Hohner guitar in the Blue Book. The highest was $600 for the designer series.

Hope this helps!

Lynne

If you see one for sale, Buy it!

These Hohner HG Limited Edition Guitars are an incredible value. The 310 is a true D28 clone and it looks, plays, and sounds exactly like a Martin D28 (at least mine does). I also have a Classical HG 334 that is just beautiful and sounds just as great as it looks. There are others in this series and I believe they are all really good clones of the worlds favorite guitars. Look for the extra little wooden tag inside that says "Hand made for Hohner" ,and you've probably found yourself a great guitar at a great price. Cheers!!

Hi Lynne, I would love to see a close up photo of the lable inside the soundhole on your HG 310 along with the the smaller gold (ticket shaped)lable that says "Hand Made For Hohner". I'd also like to see the woodwork purfling that surrounds your soundhole?
