Guitar Tab--Sliding a Chord
(Austin, Texas)
Ok I'm currently a new song and of the tab is below
---0---------------0---0--- ---0---------------0---0--- ---2--------------/5---5--- ---0---------------0---0--- ---2--------------/5---5--- ---------------------------
The part that I don't understand is the slide in the chord. Am I suppose to slide from the previous chord (20200) to the one right after the / (50500)?
ANSWER
Hi, aliciagomez--
Yes, you are absolutely correct. The tab indicates and slide on from the 2nd fret on strings 2 and 4 to the 5th fret on strings 2 and 4.
This should be fairly easy since the other strings remain open.
