Guild X-220 serial 1012

Guild X-220
I wondered about the value of this guitar.
Is it possible it's the 12th Guild built?
I can find no information about this guitar.
I'm pretty sure it's a Kluson tailpiece, but that's about it.
I bought this in 1962 and I'm pretty sure it's all original except a switch a guy added and the bridge has been replaced.
ANSWER
Hi, Bill--
The Guild Guitar company began producing guitars in 1952. The serial number for this guitar indicates a 1953 manufacture date, so, yes, it does seem that this was the 12th guitar built by Guild. The guitar was built in New York City.
Here is the Blue Book general info:
X-200/X-220
- non-cutaway hollow maple body, laminated spruce top, two f-holes, laminated maple/walnut neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with large block inlays, bound headstock, three-per-side tuners, adj. bridge, trapeze tailpiece, raised pickguard, two pickups, two knobs (v, tone), three-way pickup switch, nickel hardware, available in Natural (X-220) or Sunburst (X-200) finish, 17 in. lower bout width, mfg. 1953-54.
The pricing info:
X-220 Natural
Mint $2,000
Exc.+ $1,600
Exc. $1,300
Avg.+ $1,050
Avg. $850
General $700
The replaced bridge and added switch will reduce the value, but I can't be sure by how much.
Best Wishes,
Lynne
