Economy? But it is Solid Mahogany... by: Anonymous
Originally marketed as Economy yes but, the 1958 M-20 made of solid mahogany. Also, the sound that this guitar produces is amazing! Any honest answers about what a "near mint" 50's Model M-20(the one I have now has a low serial number hand written on the tag inside and it is a Hoboken NJ address which means it was made after the company moved in the late 1950's. It was made prior to 1960 because it has a low serial number only 4 digits and no letters surrounding the number. I have seen them go for over 1K in much poorer condition than the one I have. It has NO damage to the body or finish, the neck is straight, there are no missing or damaged hardware parts, no scratching on the pick guard.Any ideas?

I usually see them listed online from $600-900 I've even seen one go as low as $400. At the time they were released, the M20 was and still is considered a "budget model", so you won't really see them go beyond 1k

Guild M20 by: Anonymous
We recently found a Guild M20 "Starfire" Acoustic at a yard sale, serial# 37317, made in Hoboken, New Jersey, and wondered about its value. It is in very good shape. Thanks.
