G&L SC-2

I recently aqcuired a G&L SC-2 with no whammy bar. I was wondering the history of this guitar and its value. The No. on it is 256804 431950 3678795, I have searched all over the internet and couldnt find anything. It is black, with a maple neck dual pick ups and plastic covers.

Hi, Ron--
The SC series was produced over a period of eighteen months, beginning in 1982. An estimated 1,200 instruments total were produced. SC series guitars have one, two, or three G & L Magnetic Field single coil pickups (depending on the model).

- offset double cutaway maple body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlay, six-on-one-side tuners, standard vibrato, two single coil pickup, two knobs (v,tone),pickup selector switch mounted on control panel near volume and tone controls, and jack mounted on black quarter moon-shaped panel, chrome hardware, mfg. 1982-84.
