Gibson SJ Deluxe

I am confused as to what my guitar is worth, Guitar Center was asking 899.00 for it, I bought it from them for 500.00 after haggling. It is a orange label inside that says made in Kalamazoo. It says SJ Deluxe, however it looks like a country western due to the pickguard. Would it specify country western on the inside if it was, or no. Anyway, guitar is in great shape so structural damage, sounds very charming, everything is original.
ANSWERHi, Rob--
From the Blue Book:
"In 1956, the SJ in Natural finish was renamed the Country-Western Jumbo. In 1960, this new designation was again renamed the SJN. In 1962, the SJN was again called the Country-Western."
"SJN (SJN Country Western, Country-Western Jumbo)
- similar to SJ (Southern Jumbo), except has tortoiseshell pickguard, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1954-1978."
The problem is that withou a serial number or manufacture date, I can't give you the pricing info. If you can find a serial number then we can proceed with the evaluation.
