- double cutaway mahogany body (same size as SG Standard), mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, stop tailpiece, blackface peghead with pearl logo inlay, three-per-side tuners with plastic buttons, nickel hardware, layered black pickguard, two single coil pickups, two volume/two tone control, three-position switch, available in Ebony (25 mfg. 1971-73), Natural (approx. 450 mfg. 1971-77), Cherry (most common), Walnut (1971-78) or White (approx. 455 mfg. 1962-68, reintroduced 1972-78) finishes, mfg. 1959-1978.
