Hi, I live in Norway and have a blonde Gibson ES175D with serial nr:040089 I'm not sure what year it is, it has a square red black and white label inside. Could you tell me the year and value please.

The serial number indicates that Your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, USA in 1967.
Here is the general info:
ES-175 D (ES75) - similar to ES-175, except has 2 single coil (disc. 1956) or humbucker pickups (current pickups are '57 Classic humbuckers), current dimensions are 16 in. wide, 20.5 in. long, and 3.5 in. thick, current mfg. utilizes curly maple/poplar/maple laminate top, sides, and back with mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard, 2 volume/2 tone controls, three-position switch, currently available in Vintage Sunburst, Wine Red, or Natural finish, mfg. 1951-present, D suffix added in 1953.
