Wanting to know as approximate value of my father's Gibson guitar. Wanting to sell it. The serial # is T5517-15. It is in excellent shape. I have the original case. Also found the neck tag. Thanks.

ANSWER

The serial number would only come up as "pre 1977". Gibson serial numbers can be difficult. The Blue Book prices are similar for all years. Here is the pricing for 1967-70:
